LV= launches equity release toolkit

LV= has launched a new marketing toolkit to help IFAs advise clients on equity release.

The toolkit includes an equity release marketing guide, template letters and posters, case studies and a customer brochure.

LV= head of equity release Vanessa Owen says: “We have listened to the needs of financial advisers and developed this equity release marketing toolkit around their specific requirements and suggestions. We believe this will help them to make both existing and prospective clients more aware of the benefits of equity release, thus helping them to serve their clients more effectively.”

LV= is also hosting a series of roadshows across the country in May and June to help advisers learn more about advising clients on equity release.

The roadshows, which start this week in Kent and Bristol, will feature a spokesperson from Assureweb and LV= representatives.

Owen says: “The LV= roadshows will do over the next few weeks, with independent input from Assureweb, is show advisers the benefits of equity release and how to advise their clients more effectively on the opportunities it can bring.”


Switched-on thinking

The end of April brought a close to the FSA’s programme of pension-switching roadshows. The programme was established with the aim of helping support and educate firms about our expectations for this business area and how best they might meet them following our review that found significant instances of unsuitable advice.
