LV= appoints UK equities head

LV= Asset Management (LVAM) has continued building its fund management arm with the appointment of Neil Worsley as head of UK equities

Worsley joins LV= from Claremont Capital Management, where he was a partner and was responsible for stock selection and portfolio construction of the European equity portfolio. He has also held the role of group head of equities at Lombard Odier, where he was in charge of their UK and European equity portfolios.

LVAM kicked off its plans to grow its retail offering last month when the firm appointed F&C’s Tom Caddick as head of multi-manager as well as launching 13 vehicles.

LVAM managing director Steven Daniels says: “This is yet another key appointment for LVAM as we seek to expand our investment team. Neil brings with him 27 years’ investment experience which will be invaluable in leading our in-house UK equity management capabilities.”
