LV= has boosted its intermediary division by appointing Chris Hopkinson as head of national accounts, Carl Heard as national account manager and four new key account managers.
Heard previously worked at Legal & General where he was heavily involved in a number of protection and e-commerce initiatives.
LV= has recruited four new key account managers to develop long term relationships with key intermediary accounts.
Director of intermediary business Stuart Tragheim says this intermediary division expansion is a key progression.
He says: “The new managerial team, bolstered by the appointment of Carl, will provide a strategic focus to maintain and increase market share, with the objective of intensifying our reach amongst key accounts, and contributing to long-term profitability.”
The insurer appointed John Perks, previously director of protection at Prudential, as customer solutions director in July. It has also enhanced its term assurance, income protection and critical illness product rates in the past few months.
