Lombard International targets more IFAs

Luxembourg-based Lombard International Assurance is to extend its UK IFA distribution channel, targeting high-net-worth individuals.

Lombard International will add a further 15 to the 30 firms it deals with at present, offering a life assurance wrapper for investments, with special terms for over 40 fund management groups and 600 different funds.

Minimum investment is £100,000, but Lombard International says the average investment is around £350,000.

Lombard International UK sales head Stephen Atkinson says “We are convinced that the Lombard structure is ideal for IFAs&#39 high-net-worth clients as it is designed specifically to meet their individual needs in a tax-advantaged environment.”
