Livingston FC flies IF colours

Scottish Premier league football club Livingston FC has unveiled its new Intelligent Finance branded strips, part of the phone and internet bank&#39s two-year, six-figure sponsorship of the local club.

This is the first time IF&#39s name has appeared on the strips and as the club&#39s main sponsors the east stand of the Almondvale Stadium is being renamed the Intelligent Finance Community Stand.

Livingston is launching two branded strips this year, one in its own colours of orange and white and one in IF&#39s corporate colours of purple and silver.

The sponsorship deal builds on the affinity relationship started between Livingston and IF in January. The affinity deal rewards the club for every credit card, mortgage, loan, savings or current account taken out by supporters.

IF chief executive Jim Spowart says: “As a local employer, with over 1,000 people employed at our Livingston administration centre, we are delighted to be associated with such a family-orientated club. The forthcoming season promises to be an exciting one both at home and in Europe. We are confident that this new sponsorship deal will bring even more success both on and off the pitch.”

Livingston FC commercial manager Charles Burnett says: “As far as I am aware, this is the first time that a football club has offered so much representation to a corporate sponsor and perfectly illustrates the level of cooperation between Livingston FC and IF.”
