Lincoln aligns management team

Lincoln Unit Trust Managers has added to it management team with the appointments of Will Hale and Simon O’Connor as head of distribution and head of products & marketing, respectively.

O’Connor and Hale currently manage the distribution, products and marketing of Lincoln’s retirement income proposition, Lincoln i2Live, which launched earlier this year.

Hale joined Lincoln Financial Group in March 2006 as a senior investment analyst, before assuming the role of Lincoln Retirement Income head of distribution in March 2007. O’Connor joined in early 2007 as head of products and marketing.

Both will continue to work within the retirement branch of the business.

Lincoln Financial Group Director of Business Development Helen Turner says: “We are focused on meeting the long-term investment needs of intermediaries and their clients. The retirement income market is a key area for us and we are looking to align our products in the retirement market across the range.”

“It is with this on-going focus in mind that we have enhanced Will and Simon’s responsibilities to head up the distribution, products and marketing functions of our unit trust operation.”
