Lighthouse is launching a simplified online advice service with advice firms and discretionary fund manager Money on Toast.
In a stockmarket announcement, published today, Lighthouse says it will initially offer its “Keep it Simple” range through two of its affinity partners, the Royal College of Nursing and the CSMA Club, which offers benefits for civil service employees.
Members of the organisations will be able to access online advice on Isa and general investment account planning, with investment objectives matched to model portfolios.
The service will run as part of a six-month pilot, before being rolled out to other Lighthouse affinity partners.
Money on Toast founder Charlie Nicholls says: “We are excited to be working with Lighthouse and are pleased online advice services will be brought to the attention of a large number of working people who need it. It is past due that people are able to reap the benefits of technology and receive both financial advice and a discretionary portfolio management service online.”
Lighthouse chief executive Malcolm Streatfield says: “We are delighted to partner with Money on Toast to provide this new online service to two of our affinity group partners, both of which have welcomed this as a positive development for their members. We look forward to reporting the conclusion of a successful trial in six months’ time and then rolling this service out to our other affinity partners.”
