Lifequote adds Scot Am menu protection product

Scottish Amicable&#39s menu protection product is now available on the comparative quotes search engine run by Lifequote, an intermediary network offering advice on life and protection insurance.

The network&#39s 900 members, including IFAs and general insurance and mortgage brokers, can access quotes through Lifequote&#39s website on Scot Am&#39s life,critical-illness cover, unemployment cover and mortgage payment benefit.

Scot Am says it has been working with Lifequote to build this internet service because it was attracted by the quality and breadth of the network&#39s distribution.

It says this initiative is part of its aim to give a wider audience access to its full range of protection products through key business partners using modern technology.

Lifequote says it wanted Scot Am on board as it believes menu protection products should be offered alongside traditional stand-alone products already available on its site.

Lifequote sales and marketing director Richard Verdin says: “Scottish Amicable is very active in the intermediary mortgage market and protection market and we are pleased they chose to work with us. This development means we have delivered on our goal to keep members ahead of the competition.”
