Life planning and outsourcing for women advisers’ meeting

Ashley Law Crawley associate partner Tracey Evans and Axa Wealth Management investment sales manager David Tasker will address this month’s Women Adviser and Broker Group meeting.

The meeting will be held on May 18 at the Architas office in Old Broad Street, London.

Evans, who has been an IFA for over 20 years, will speak about her journey towards becoming a Kinder Institute registered life planner and how she incorporates this into her practice.

Tasker will talk about the benefits of outsourcing the investment process and the fact that many advisers are reviewing their business for the RDR through multi-managers or discretionary fund management.

An open forum will follow to promote discussion of the experiences, success and failures of different marketing methods.

Monetary Solutions director Vivian Slattery, who set up the Women Adviser and Broker Group, says: “It will address sector trends and foster new ideas for creative, responsible advice services.”

Technology and Technical managing director Kim North says: “Having gone to the first two meetings, I have been thrilled with the level of knowledge shown by the female advisers and paraplanners who attended. I would urge every female adviser to go.”
