Life in the pension world

Next month’s Money Marketing Live London conference and exhibition will once again give pension advisers the opportunity to hear from the experts on the latest industry developments.

Taking place at Olympia on Thursday, May 10, the event will include seminars dedicated to pension issues and an exhibition of leading product and services providers.

An industry panel debate will be a keynote feature of the conference and will identify what impact pension simplification has had on the intermediary’s role so far.

Chaired by Money Box presenter Paul Lewis, panellists will include DWP chief pensions economist Robert Laslett, Standard Life head of pensions John Lawson, Aegon Scottish Equitable head of pensions development Rachel Vahey and Hargreaves Lansdown head of pensions research Tom McPhail.

Professional Briefing managing director and Money Marketing columnist Keith Popplewell will provide a guide on how advisers can proactively benefit themselves and their clients by understanding the implications of imminent changes in the pension world.

In the Money Marketing Savings and Investments Arena, key figures from leading pension companies will also give presentations. Speakers will include Suffolk Life sales and marketing director John Moret and Legal & General pension strategy director Adrian Boulding, who will look at the future opportunities for pension advisers. Hornbuckle Mitchell managing director Neil Marsh will discuss Sipp and SSAS strategies.

With training sessions and workshops, Money Marketing Live will feature over 50 key industry speakers and over 100 exhibitors.
