L&H opens office in Gibraltar

Leeds & Holbeck Building Society is spreading its wings beyond the UK for the first time by opening an office in Gibraltar. The society will offer a range of mortgages to Gibraltar residents and British expatriates. It plans to expand its business into Spain and start accepting deposits in 2003, with plans to expand across Europe later.


Loan advisers warned they must adapt
