Legal & General is extending its support offering to intermediaries who advise on healthcare and private medical insurance.

The services are being launched in support of L&G’s new PMI plan and include the opportunity for training on the company’s healthcare product range and the option for commission payments to be made weekly.

L&G has also appointed a new head of sale for HealthCare business, Patricia Matthews who joins from Standard Life Healthcare.

Director of Healthcare Chris Rolland says: “We really value the feedback we receive and since the launch of the new product this has already resulted in Legal & General changing the questions on the application in respect of customers who wish to switch from another provider to ensure they are easier to understand.”
