L&G appoints Allison Crawford as D2C director

Legal & General Savings has appointed Allison Crawford as direct to consumer director as the provider looks to grow its D2C business ahead of the RDR.

Crawford, who was previously group marketing programme director at Standard Life, will be responsible for attracting and retaining customers and contributing to asset accumulation for the providers savings business and fund platform.

She will report to platforms and distribution managing director Geoff Towers.

Towers says: “Allison will focus on building our strengths to meet our direct customer needs. This does not mean that our distribution model has changed.

“As I have said before we remain absolutely committed to the adviser market first and foremost. We will continue to support advisers and help them manage the transition as we move closer to RDR.”
