Legg Mason Investors is teaming up with fund analysts Keydata to launch an interactive CD-Rom providing investment information to IFAs.
The CD-Rom will feature video interviews with Legg Mason fund managers and will provide an overview of the company's investment philosophy.
The first edition includes an interview with head of investment Andrew Whalley in which he exp-lains Legg Mason's investment process developed with US fund manager Bill Miller from the firm's US parent.
There are also interviews with head of UK large-cap and UK income fund manager Chris White, director of multi-manager products Sam Liddle and head of investment trusts Alan Kerr.
The CD-Rom will be distributed with Keydata's unit trust/Oeic fund information this month or through the fund manager's website which is at www. leggmasoninvestors.com.
As part of the launch, there are two Omega Seamaster watches are up for grabs which IFAs can win by answering questions based on the CD-Rom.
Managing director mut-ual funds Paul Boughton says: “Since joining Legg Mason, I have been busy assembling a top-quality team to service the investment advisory community.
“The interactive CD-Rom provides an ideal opportunity for advisers to see and hear from an array of talented fund managers available within Legg Mason Investors and our parent Legg Mason Inc.”
