IFA London & Country has teamed up with software specialist Dunstan Thomas to develop a bespoke mortgage processing system aimed at speeding up the sales process.
L&C says the system cuts down on paperwork and allows it to make more extensive use of its customer database.
All the paper-based processes are to be automated, which L&C says makes it easier to analyse data, track mortgage applications and monitor the performance of sales staff.
It hopes to extend the system to include a common application form and internet access allowing cases to be tracked online.
L&C head of compliance and operations Patrick Bunton says: “Dunstan Thomas has delivered a system that has dramatically improved the efficiency of our sales processes and case tracking.”
