Lazards to undergo restructuring

Investment bank Lazards is to reorganise its three main divisions in London, Paris and New York into one integrated structure.

Each of the divisions currently has a different ownership structure. The move therefore aims to unite these in order to compete on a global scale with the international banking giants.

The bank will set up a special co-ordinating committee which will look at ways of integrating the decision-making procedures for the three banking divisions.
