Lazards has restructured its European equities desk with the appointment of Aaron Barnfather as lead manager of the group’s continental European strategy.
Barnfather, who takes on the role from March 3, will replace Gabrielle Boyle, who will focus solely on the firm’s global and international select strategies.
As part of the new role Barnfather will take on the management of Lazards £148m European alpha fund and European equity Dublin offering.
Having joined from Newton Investment Management, Barnfather will work on the strategy alongside Mark Little, Barnaby Wilson and Marina Leacock.
A spokesmen for Lazards says the firm has been looking at bolstering its offering on the platform, though from a product perspective no new plans have been put in place.
