LaSalle Investment Management boosts Asia Pacific team

LaSalle Investment Management has strengthened its Asia Pacific team.

David Edwards joins as fund president of the company’s Asia property fund with Kenneth Tsang taking on Edwards’ previous role of Asia Pacific head of research and strategy.

Edwards will assume responsibility for LaSalle’s flagship core fund Asia Property Fund which is a pan-Asia Pacific open-ended fund for institutional investors and pension schemes.

Tsang, who will be based in Hong Kong joined the firm at the beginning of February. He will work closely with the global strategy team who analyses capital markets, regional economies and property markets in 150 metropolitan areas and thirty countries.

He joins LaSalle from ING Real Estate Management in Hong Kong where he was responsible for the firm’s strategy and research functions in Asia.
