Lambeth launches affinity account with QPR

Lambeth Building Society has teamed up with Queen&#39s Park Rangers to launch a savings account targeted at the football club&#39s supporters.


Lambeth Simply Postal, the by-post arm of the building society, launched the Queen&#39s Park Rangers Savings Account at the club&#39s game against Watford last week.


Lambeth claims the account offers a higher rate than other football affinity accounts.


The accounts have an interest rate of 4.65 per cent for balances of £1,000 to £4,999 and 4.95 per cent on balances of £5,000 to a maximum of £200,000.
