Lambeth Building Society raises account limit

The Lambeth Building Society has raised the limit on for new accounts to deter carpetbaggers in the wake of the bid for Leek United Building Society.


All society accounts are closing with immediate effect, with the exception of the Olympos, the Cash Isa, Simply Postal 180 and Simply Isa which require an opening balance of £3,000.

InterAlliance opens Edinburgh office

IFA InterAlliance has opened an office in Edinburgh targeting high net worth clients in the east of Scotland as part of its expansion strategy. Four months ago the IFA announced it was issuing two million shares in a bid to raise £8m. It has 38 practices and 415 registered individuals.
