KPMG appoints new financial services relationship partner

KPMG has appointed Simon Ranger as financial services relationship partner.

He will be responsible for the firm’s key UK and international insurance clients.

Ranger will be based in London and will report to Jeremey Anderson, European head of financial services.

He joins from Deloitte where he was head of financial services business development and was responsible for a national team of business development managers and the Deloitte bid advisory team.

Prior to this he spent 16 years at Prudential in corporate and retail distribution markets.

Anderson says: “Simon brings with him a wealth of experience in creating strong partnerships with clients. We are pleased to welcome him to our financial services team and look forward to building on our leading position as a provider of professional services to the insurance industry.”

Ranger says: “The insurance market is undergoing enormous change, from consolidation and the development of alternative routes to market. As our clients look to evolve and adapt to this rapidly changing environment, it is our obligation to thoroughly understand their needs and be able to suggest appropriate and effective solutions designed to help them reach their goal of ambitious growth. I look forward to building up this depth of relationship with our current and future clients.”
