Kirwan is named personality of the year

Nick Kirwan was named protection industry personality of the year at the annual protection review.

Kirwan received the award at the Cafe Royal in London last week.

He was praised for his proactive and prolific work with the media, his innovative approach to product development and the leading role he has taken at the Association of British Insurers, working on its taskforces.

Kirwan says: “I was surprised. I feel deeply honoured and it is a real privilege. If there is one thing that I hope to be associated with it is my passion for this industry.

“Protection is not about policies, it is about changing peoples’ lives. When someone gets possibly the worst news they have ever heard, we are here to provide a safe pair of hands when everything else lets them down.”
