Kim and Timberlake quit FundQuest for LV=

Richard Timberlake and Paul Kim have resigned from FundQuest to run the multi-manager team at LV= Asset Management.

Matthew Wright, the head of sales at LV=, says the duo will join at “an appropriate time” for the business.

Earlier this week, the group appointed Mark Dunn, also from FundQuest, as head of strategic business development.

In November, the company expanded its funds push further by hiring Liz Adnitt from SVM Asset Management as investment sales director.

The multi-manager team at LV= recently lost a number of key staff when Tom Caddick and Toby Vaughan left to join Santander as head of multi-manager and fund manager respectively.

FundQuest could not comment on who will take over from Timberlake and Kim. FundQuest says Timberlake is still working for FundQuest as a consultant and Kim is still running his portfolios for the time being.

FundQuest has not yet decided who will run the funds in the interim after Kim leaves.
