Kenny leaves ABI

ABI director of life and pensions Chris Kenny is to leave the trade body at Christmas after three years with the organisation.
ABI deputy director-general Stephen Sklaroff will take on Kenny’s life and pensions responsibilities with some of his responsibilities reshuffled.
The ABI says that after the publication of the Government’s White Paper on personal accounts Kenny decided it was an appropriate time to move on.
Kenny was previously director of compliance at Oftel and before that worked for the Department of Health and the Treasury.
ABI director general Stephen Haddrill says: “We are very grateful to Chris for all his hard work over the last three years. He has had a major impact on our consumer work and campaigns with the Government and the FSA on pension reform, regulation and distribution. we wish him well in his future career.”
