This year's Money Marketing Live in Manchester will once again feature two arenas dedicated to pension and protection products.
Taking place at the G-Mex on September 28, the arenas will offer specific product focus through presentations, case studies and panel debates.
Pension advisers will have the opportunity to hear a debate discussing pension simplification. Gearing Up For A-Day will feature some of the industry's leading experts, including Scottish Life head of pensions strategy Steve Bee, Scottish Equ-itable pensions development director Stewart Ritchie, independent expert Ros Altmann, Millfield pension specialist Graham Duckett and Syndaxi Financial Planning director Robert Reid.
Key figures from leading providers will also give presentations in the Money Marketing pension arena. Speakers will include Legal & General pensions stra-tegy director Adrian Boulding and Hornbuckle Mitchell managing director Neil Marsh, who will discuss which areas of pension planning advisers should be reviewing to ensure that they stay compliant after A-Day.
In the Money Marketing protection arena, sponsored by Webline, Bupa head of marketing communications Matthew Gully will offer insights into developing a marketing strategy for an IFA business and Abbey for Intermediaries regional protection manager Simon Moxon will discuss the impact of regulation on the protection market.
Webline key account manager Matt Humphrey will examine the role of e-commerce on the protection industry and Friends Provident marketing director Peter Hamilton will identify how electronic underwriting is changing the way that advisers write protection business.
Hamilton believes it is important for advisers to stay in touch in today's climate. He says: “This event provides a great chance for us to meet a whole range of IFAs in one day to better understand their issues, concerns and ideas. In the same way, I hope IFAs will see a real benefit in picking up on market developments and having discussions with a range of providers.”
With training sessions and workshops, Money Marketing Live will feature over 40 key industry speakers and over 80 financial services exhibitors.
