Keegan leaves Barclays

Barclays Financial Planning commercial director Alan Keegan has left the firm.

Keegan is not understood to have taken up a role at ano-ther company although it is bel-ieved he is doing some consultancy work. He is believed to have felt that the regulatory changes meant it was a good time to move on.

Alan Clark has take on on day-to-day responsibility for the commercial development team.

Keegan’s departure is the latest in a series of changes at Barclays. Former Berkeley Berry Birch chief executive Stephen Ingledew took responsibility for Barclays’ advisory proposition on the independent and tied sides in June, reporting to ex-Zurich IFA Group managing director Jim Reeve, who joined Barclays in February.
