Just Retirement has recorded a 21.7 per cent increase in group sales in the three months to 30 June.
The provider’s fourth quarter new business figures, published today, show total sales increased from £350.1m in Q4 last year to £425.9m in Q4 this year.
This was driven by a 28.2 per cent surge in annuity sales, from £282.7m to £362.3m. Equity release sales dropped almost 6 per cent, from £67.4m to £63.6m.
The results mean Just Retirement’s sales have increased 29 per cent in the last 12 months, from £1.135bn last year to £1.465bn this year.
Just Retirement chief executive Rodney Cook (pictured) says: “Just Retirement’s total sales in the fourth quarter increased by 21.7 per cent compared to the same period last year and are the highest achieved.
“This strong performance in Q4 contributed to full year group sales of £1.465bn, a new record and is 29 per cent higher than 2011.”
