Jupiter picks Moore as joint MD

Jupiter has appointed Paula Moore as joint managing director.

Moore, who will be responsible for fund administration, will share the role with Gordon Davidson, primarily responsible for unit trust distribution. She has been involved with managing Jupiter’s unit trust administration department since 1997 and previously worked at Fuji Investment Management.

Moore takes over the position from Jane Petkovic who will continue at Jupiter on a part-time basis.

Group executive deputy chairman Jonathan Carey has stood down. He was joint chief executive, alongside Edward Bonham Carter, between May 2000 and June 2007. Carey will remain on the board to oversee operations and development of Jupiter’s offshore funds.

Chief executive Edward Bonham Carter says: “Jane has made a tremendous contribution to developing and maintaining Jupiter’s high service standards and she will continue to provide her expertise. Paula, who has worked with Jane for many years, is a very able successor and I am delighted she will be taking over.”
