Jupiter has appointed two credit analysts to bolster its fixed income and multi-asset team.
Luca Evangelisti joins from Moody’s, where he was an associate in the financial institutions group for two years.
Harry Richards is transferring internally from Jupiter’s private clients and charities team, where he has been working since 2011.
Following the hires, the team now comprises 11 people, managing around £2.8bn as at 30 November.
Jupiter says a larger team of credit analysts will allow for greater individual sector specialisation, which it says is an important development given the growing array and complexity of fixed income securities.
Jupiter head of fixed income and multi-asset Miles Geldard says: “The hires will help us further enhance our offering to clients, putting us in a strong position for the next stage of our development.”
Whitechurch Securities managing director Gavin Haynes says: “Whilst Jupiter’s growth has been largely attributable to its abilities in managing equities and multi-manager, it has increased its presence in fixed income and multi-asset funds recently.
“Given the increasing importance of this area of the business it makes sense that it is increasing the strength of its management team.”
