Jupiter Asset Management has hired a senior credit analyst to strengthen its fixed interest desk.
Hilary Blandy joins the asset management house from Citi to work with bond manager Ariel Bezalel.
Blandy will assist Bezalel in analysing credit issues for the portfolios he manages, which includes the £936.2m Jupiter strategic bond fund and the recently launched dynamic bond fund
John Chatfeild-Roberts, chief investment officer of Jupiter Asset Management, says: “Hilary is a hugely welcome addition to the expanding fixed interest team at Jupiter.
“Her analytical and research skills will help Ariel to sustain the performance of the successful Jupiter strategic bond fund as its assets continue to grow.”
Blandy worked as a vice president in Citi’s leveraged finance team for three years, having first joined the group in 2002.
