Jupiter adds Gunn to its armoury

Jupiter is hunting for new talent to bolster its fund management teams.

The firm has appointed Alistair Gunn as an analyst within Anthony Nutt’s income team. He joins from Arbuthnot Securities where he was director of equity research for transport and logistics.

His appointment is believed to be one of a number of additions in the coming months.

A spokesperson says Jupiter is looking at new prospects across the board to ensure the business continues to flourish.

A spokesperson says: “We are looking for the right opportunities as we want those who will be able to run money for us in the future. Nurturing new talent is something we have always done with the likes of Malcolm Millar who now runs the European income fund and Cedric de Fonclaire who has managed the European special situations fund since July 2005.”

Jupiter recently appointed Steve Davies to the UK equity desk as an analyst to help Ian MacVeigh on the £1.3bn UK growth fund.
