JP Morgan Asset Management has announced it is risk-rating its five-strong fund of funds range in co-ordination with Dynamic Planner.
Last month, JPM announced plans to launch the whole of market range, which will be run by ex-Henderson multi-manager Tony Lanning, who joins in May.
JPM Adviser Solutions head of sales Jamie Farquhar says: “Risk-rated fund of fund solutions have become central to the adviser toolkit. This range of actively managed solutions is distributed evenly across the risk/return spectrum and offers controlled flexibly for advisers looking to outsource day-to-day investment decisions.”
Equilibrium Asset Management investment manager Mike Deverell says: “When using risk-rated funds the temptation is to put someone in a balanced portfolio but it is best to exercise caution. You need to consider a person’s circumstances and not just their risk tolerance.”
