JP Morgan appoints head of insurance and platform sales

Andrea Hohlachoff will report to head of global strategic relationships Andrew Larkin.

JP Morgan Asset Management has appointed Andrea Hohlachoff as head of insurance and platforms, UK fund sales.

Reporting to head of global strategic relationships Andrew Larkin, Hohlachoff will work within the global strategic relationships management team of UK fund sales.

In her new role, she will be responsible for developing key strategic partnerships with life insurers, fund supermarkets and wrap platforms.

Hohlachoff was previously SEI head of investment solutions for emerging markets, Europe and Asia. She has also been a wealth management product specialist at Bear Stearns.

JP Morgan Asset Management head of UK funds Jasper Berens says: “Andrea brings an outstanding skill set to the position and she will enhance the depth and expertise of an already strong team.

“The recent changes that include Andrea’s new role leave us better poised to continue to deliver excellent client service as well as greater productivity and much greater focus on our most important client relationships.”

The Lang Cat principal Mark Polson says: “In a market where it is increasingly difficult for fund managers to gain exposure through a wide range of different platforms, it is vital they maintain strong relationships with the platforms their funds are listed on.”
