Joliffe moves to lead EIG fund development

Exeter Investment Group has appointed a new executive director who will oversee the development of its unit trust and Oeic retail division.

Ian Joliffe, formerly Hill Samuel Asset Management head of global business development, joined Exeter on September 4.

He will be responsible for the Exeter fund management division, an area that has grown in recent years.

Joliffe has 15 years&#39 experience working in the UK retail financial services market.

“Exeter Fund Managers has enjoyed excellent growth over recent years and this appointment marks a significant step in our ambitious strategy to grow the business in the future.”

Joliffe says: “With such a well run business, Exeter is poised to make that next major step forward, which makes this role very exciting.”
