Jenkins to be MD of Axa&#39s Multimanager business

Axa Investment Managers has appointed Neil Jenkins as managing director of its specialist investment business Multimanager.

Jenkins joins from Deutsche Bank where he was head of emerging markets and chief executive of its London office of US subsidiary DeAmis.

He held senior roles at Morgan Grenfell before its acquisition by Deutsche Bank in 1990. He helped create Deutsche&#39s US mutual funds company from 1991 to 1996 as a dir-ector of Morgan Grenfell Capital Management.

Axa Multimanager has offices in London, New York and Paris and manages £1bn globally and £850m in the UK. Chief executive Douglas Healy says: “The UK is a key market in the development of our global Multimanager business. Adding Neil to our team will increase our capabilities.”
