Jaques leaves Henderson

The news follows Henderson’s recent hires of Simon Hillenbrand, Greg Jones and James Bowers to strengthen its distribution capabilities in both Britain and continental Europe.

Jaques has been at Henderson since April 2007, joining the group from Skandia where he was head of structured product sales.

Hillenbrand, who joined Henderson last week, is to be responsible for British retail sales reporting to Mark Skinner, head of pan-European retail business. Previously, he was managing director of British retail sales at New Star.

Greg Jones, who was formerly managing director of New Star’s international business, will be responsible for continental European retail distribution while James Bowers will look after British and institutional product. Bowers held similar roles at Aviva Investors and NPI.
