Thames River in protest to Maguire’s new firm

Thames River Capital has written to Arch Cru fund promoter Jon Maguire’s latest venture Voila Asset Marketing, demanding it remove a reference to the firm on its website.

The reference was found in VAM’s online terms and conditions, which bear similarities to Thames River’s own online T&Cs.

VAM chief executive Joe O’Meara says he is investigating the issue. VAM’s T&Cs have since been amended.

Thames River investment director Michael Warren says: “It has been brought to our attention that the name of Thames River was incorrectly being used on the VAM website. We have written to them asking for our name to be removed as we have no relationship with VAM.”

O’Meara says external developers were responsible for the website. He says: “I am trying to find out what happened.”

  1. “O’Meara says external developers were responsible for the website.”

No. External developers *built* the website; the firm is *responsible* for it. Let’s be real clear where the buck stops.

  2. Jon Maguire and his new friends up to his old tricks blaming others for their own failures
