Best Network: Sense

Best network 2016

Sense was named Best Network in what is always a hotly contested category. Last year’s highly commended alongside Best Practice, this year Sense edged it for its focus on driving professional standards.

Judges were impressed by its selective approach to recruiting members, and for “not allowing growth to get in the way of quality”.

The strong sense of culture at the network came through loud and clear, as did its consumer-centric proposition.

One judge said: “They are clearly passionate about what they do, and you really believe what they are saying.”

Judges also praised the high proportion of file checks carried out, and the use of a sophisticated, weighted process to do so. They said overall Sense ran a “clever business model”.

Intrinsic took highly commended for the “huge amount” of investment in advisers, particularly in taking on what was Sesame Bankhall’s Financial Adviser School.
