iShares to boost intermediary offering with new hire

iShares has appointed Julian Hince as business development officer for the IFA sector.

Hince will be responsible for developing iShares’ position within the intermediary channel following demand from IFAs on how to incorporate exchange traded funds into an investment portfolio.

He was most recently head of strategic partners at Gartmore with responsibility for both their IFA and third party channel.

iShares Europe head of sales Andrea Morresi says: “Julian’s appointment reflects iShares’ conviction that ETFs are gaining in popularity and generating increasing interest from the intermediary community.”
