Iress has launched a new provider integration hub for investment products with Standard Life announced as its first partner.
Accessed via Iress’ existing Adviser Office, Iressnet is designed to supply quotations and applications for investment products without the need to re-enter data on both adviser software and provider software systems. Iress has initially partnered with Standard Life to offer products available on the provider’s Adviserzone.
Opening accounts through Iressnet will produce an audit trail. The service is available through the existing licence fee.
It uses a messaging system from Origo, designed to allow information transfer between providers and adviser software systems.
Iress executive general manager sales Mark Loosmore says: “We believe our new integration and account opening service will provide a popular, time-saving addition to an advisers’ toolkit. When we engaged with clients on the possibility of creating a new account opening service, three quarters of advisers told us they were interested in using it.
Standard Life Head of Transactional Platforms at Ross Dunlop added: “Advisers told us they wanted to avoid re-keying data and we have reacted to this by delivering the ability to integrate our quote and apply services on Adviserzone with their systems.
