Investors looking to the longer term, says Killik & Co

Equity investors will look to the medium term and not be so concerned over day to day news in 2002, according to Killik & Co.

Killik & Co is predicting that investors are coming to terms with daily market volatility and will see equities as increasingly attractive in the light of low interest rates.

Killik & Co director of stockbroking Paul Kavanagh says: “Equity investors have moved from being driven by day to day news, making last year particularly difficult to call, to taking a medium term perspective. There is a feeling that the worst is behind us.”
