Investec unveils third series of structured products

Investec Structured Products has launched a third series of structure product plans.

The latest additions follow the launch in May of Investec’s first collection of structured products and include a new range of accumulation plans, investment plans and an income plan.

The new income plans include the FTSE 100 and RPI combination plan 2, designed to deliver inflation-linked income with risk of capital loss only if the FTSE 100 halves during the investment term.

The latest accumulation plans consist of a guaranteed three and five year FTSE 100 plan which look to outperform the returns investors could expect from cash investments.

The latest investment plans include the FTSE 100 geared returns plan 3, the FTSE 100 accelerated growth plan 3 and the FTSE 100 protected growth plan 2. All look to deliver asset growth as either an alternative or complement to traditional equity and fund investments.

Investec structured products head of intermediary sales Gary Dale says: “Our first two series of plans have proved extremely popular hence the reason why we intend to continue to offer these structures on a continuous basis and, as a result of our retail platform, we have experienced high demand for tailored solutions which is really encouraging.

“The structured products market is developing quickly with a greater number of advisers using structured products within the investment planning process. It is important therefore, that we adapt our proposition to cater for changing needs whilst at the same time offer continuity within our core range.”
