Aim: Growth linked to the performance of the FTSE 100 index

Minimum-maximum investment: £1,500-£1m, Isa £5,100

Term: Five years

Return: 9.5% growth plus original capital at the end of year two provided the five-day average closing level of the index is above its initial value, 14.25% growth plus original capital at the end of year three, 19% growth plus original capital at the end of year four, 23.75% growth plus original capital at the end of year five

Protection: Original capital returned in full at the end of the term regardless of the performance of the index

FSA fines City Index £490,000 for reporting failures

The FSA has fined spread betting firm City Index £490,000 for transaction reporting failures.
