Investec Structured Products – FTSE 100 Income Deposit Plan 15

Type: Capital-protected bond

Aim: Income and the return of capital linked to the performance of the FTSE 100 index

Minimum-maximum investment: £1,500-£1m, Isa £5,100

Term: Five years

Return: Option 1 – 2.25% income at the end of year one provided index does not fall by more than 50%, 3.25% at the end of year two, 4.25% at the end of year three, 5.25% at the end of year four and 6.25% at the end of year five or monthly income of 0.17% in year one provided the index does not fall by more than 50%, 0.25% in year two, 0.33% in year three, 0.41% in year four and 0.49% in year five. Option 2 – 4% income a year or 0.32% income a month provided the index does not fall by more than 50%. Income will stop and roll over if index breach occurs and will restart if average closing level of index in five days up to and including the payment date is above the initial value

Protection: Original capital returned in full at the end of the term regardless of the performance of the index

Closing date: December 31, 2010, December 17, 2010 for Isa transfers

Commission: Initial 3%, initial 1% or initial 1% plus 0.45 % renewal
