Looking at the product overall, Chapman says: "To launch just another technology fund would have meant little press coverage. The marketing boys have therefore come up with this deviation on the theme."

Lakey is doubtful. He says: "I doubt whether this product will achieve a worthwhile fund size."

Finally Stevens says: "Technology is not going to go away. Today’s science fiction is tomorrow’s science fact. Investment in these areas is risky. The losers will lose dramatically – the winners will win spectacularly. A long term well spread out investment should do well. Many new technology devices which seem gimmicky now will be considered essential in years to come."
