Invesco Perpetual poaches SLI multi-asset team

Invesco Perpetual has poached a trio of fund managers from Standard Life Investments to form a multi-asset team.

David Millar, Dave Jubb and Richard Batty will all join the Henley-based asset manager as it looks to compliment its global multi-asset team, based in Atlanta.

Invesco Perpetual head of distribution Ian Trevers says: “Structural changes in regulation and investor requirements are highlighting demand for multi-asset products in the UK.

“We are looking forward to extending our multi-asset proposition alongside our long established equity and fixed income capabilities. The new team will enable us to develop funds to complement the recently launched Invesco Perpetual Diversified Balanced Risk Investment Series ICVC managed by our global asset allocation team in Atlanta.”

The multi-asset team at SLI are responsible for running the £12bn Standard Life Investments Global Absolute Return Strategies fund.
