Invesco Perpetual head of marketing Rick White made redundant

Invesco Perpetual head of marketing Rick White has left the firm after 12 years after being made redundant by the asset manager.

White joined Invesco Perpetual in April 2000, he previously worked at Fidelity International as marketing director for pensions. He has also held roles at Aegon Financial Services and Hill Samuel.

A spokeswoman confirmed that White left the firm in October and that the group will be making a marketing appointment in January 2013.

Earlier this month Invesco Perpetual sales director Craig Newman and sales manager Simon Dale both left the firm.

Newman joined Invesco in 1993 as regional sales manager for the North of England. Dale joined the firm in 1996.

A spokeswoman for the firm said a replacement for Newman will be appointed in the New Year with head of distribution Ian Trevers covering the role in the interim.
