Intrinsic picks IFDL to power their wrap

Intrinsic Financial Services has chosen Investment Funds Direct Limited, the provider behind Ascentric, to power the network’s own platform.

The network is to create a bespoke platform for its advisers and the partnership with IFDL will see Intrinsic using open architecture technology for the first time.

A pilot will be carried out during this year followed by a full rollout at the beginning of 2011.

Intrinsic group marketing director George Higginson says: “We are very pleased to be working with IFDL. Their technology will allow us to develop our own tailored solution that can provide a single standard across the multiple services we offer.

”IFDL’s ability to provide a consistent administrative and client process will allow us to deliver a high quality, platform enabled advisory service well into the future.”

Ascentric sales and marketing director Richard Goodall says: “We are delighted to be working with such a progressive firm as Intrinsic. For such a major adviser group to partner with us is testament to the strength of our proposition and the people working at IFDL, and clearly illustrates our ability to drive sustainable value within their business.”
