Intrinsic picks Ahmed as financial services director

Intrinsic Financial Services has appointed former Home of Choice director John Ahmed as financial services director.

He quit as commercial director at Home of Choice, now known as First Complete, in June to pursue other opportunities.

Intrinsic was set up in March 2006 and has over 1,650 advisers. In February 2008, it bought national IFA network Mint Financial Services. The group has an annual turnover of about £85m.

Intrinsic sales director Stephen Fryett says: “John has worked for 20 years in the broker market, which will give us the extra edge we need to help build our position as the UK’s leading network.”

Ahmed says: “Intrinsic is a dynamic financial services business with big plans for the future.”
