Alico has launched an interactive health service clinic called MedClick to its group insurance benefits package members.
MedClick clients will have 24-hour access to medical advice by phone, text or over the internet. The site provides 24-hour access to nurses and medical information from a team of experts.
Alico says the service offers comprehensive support for employees diagnosed with cancer or who need to undergo surgery and a second-opinion service offering employees a professional second diagnosis.
Product director Mark Hawthorne says: “MedClick benefits employers and employees alike. Offering employees 24-hour access to a team of medical specialists enables them to obtain advice on their medical concerns at no additional cost to their employer.
“MedClick is the first in a series of developments we aim to make to our employee benefits offering in 2010.”
